JOHNS HOPKINS IS FINALLY STARTING TO TELL YOU THERE IS AN ALTERNATIVE WAY TO AVOID BEAT CANCER

AFTER YEARS OF TELLING PEOPLE CHEMOTHERAPY IS THE ONLY WAY TO TRY AND ELIMINATE CANCER, JOHNS HOPKINS IS FINALLY STARTING TO TELL YOU THERE IS AN ALTERNATIVE WAY …

1. Every person has cancer cells in the body. These cancer cells do not show up in the standard tests until they have multiplied to a few billion. When doctors tell cancer patients that there are no more cancer cells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests are unable to detect the cancer cells because they have not reached the detectable size.

2. Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person’s lifetime.

3. When the person’s immune system is strong the cancer cells will be destroyed and prevented from multiplying and forming tumors.

4. When a person has cancer it indicates the person has multiple nutritional deficiencies. These could be due to genetic, environmental, food and lifestyle factors.

5. To overcome the multiple nutritional deficiencies, changing diet and including supplements will strengthen the immune system.

6. Chemotherapy involves poisoning the rapidly-growing cancer cells and also destroys rapidly-growing healthy cells in the bone marrow, gastro-intestinal tract etc, and can cause organ damage, like liver, kidneys, heart, lungs etc.

7. Radiation while destroying cancer cells also burns, scars and damages healthy cells, tissues and organs.

8. Initial treatment with chemotherapy and radiation will often reduce tumor size. However prolonged use of chemotherapy and radiation do not result in more tumor destruction.

9. When the body has too much toxic burden from chemotherapy and radiation the immune system is either compromised or destroyed, hence the person can succumb to various kinds of infections and complications.

10. Chemotherapy and radiation can cause cancer cells to mutate and become resistant and difficult to destroy. Surgery can also cause cancer cells to spread to other sites.

11. An effective way to battle cancer is to STARVE the cancer cells by not feeding it with foods it needs to multiple.
What cancer cells feed on:
a. Sugar is a cancer-feeder. By cutting off sugar it cuts off one important food supply to the cancer cells. Note: Sugar substitutes like NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful, etc are made with Aspartame and it is harmful. A better natural substitute would be Manuka honey or molasses but only in very small amounts. Table salt has a chemical added to make it white in colour. Better alternative is Bragg’s aminos or sea salt.

b. Milk causes the body to produce mucus, especially in the gastro-intestinal tract. Cancer feeds on mucus. By cutting off milk and substituting with unsweetened soy milk, cancer cells will starved.

c. Cancer cells thrive in an acid environment. A meat-based diet is acidic and it is best to eat fish, and a little chicken rather than beef or pork. Meat also contains livestock antibiotics, growth hormones and parasites, which are all harmful, especially to people with cancer.

d. A diet made of 80% fresh vegetables and juice, whole grains, seeds, nuts and a little fruits help put the body into an alkaline environment. About 20% can be from cooked food including beans. Fresh vegetable juices provide live enzymes that are easily absorbed and reach down to cellular levels within 15 minutes t o nourish and enhance growth of healthy cells.
To obtain live enzymes for building healthy cells try and drink fresh vegetable juice (most vegetables including bean sprouts) and eat some raw vegetables 2 or 3 times a day. Enzymes are destroyed at temperatures of 104 degrees F (40 degrees C).

e. Avoid coffee, tea, and chocolate, which have high caffeine. Green tea is a better alternative and has cancer-fighting properties. Water–best to drink purified water, or filtered, to avoid known toxins and heavy metals in tap water. Distilled water is acidic, avoid it.

12. Meat protein is difficult to digest and requires a lot of digestive enzymes. Undigested meat remaining in the intestines will become putrified and leads to more toxic buildup.

13. Cancer cell walls have a tough protein covering. By refraining from or eating less meat it frees more enzymes to attack the protein walls of cancer cells and allows the body’s killer cells to destroy the cancer cells.

14. Some supplements build up the immune system (IP6, Flor-ssence, Essiac, anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals, EFAs etc.) to enable the body’s own killer cells to destroy cancer cells. Other supplements like vitamin E are known to cause apoptosis, or programmed cell death, the body’s normal method of disposing of damaged, unwanted, or unneeded cells.

15. Cancer is a disease of the mind, body, and spirit. A proactive and positive spirit will help the cancer warrior be a survivor.
Anger, unforgiving and bitterness put the body into a stressful and acidic environment. Learn to have a loving and forgiving spirit. Learn to relax and enjoy life.

16. Cancer cells cannot thrive in an oxygenated environment. Exercising daily, and deep breathing help to get more oxygen down to the cellular level. Oxygen therapy is another means employed to destroy cancer cells.

WHERE DOES CANCER COMES FROM?

WHERE DOES CANCER COME FROM?

One of the best studies I have read on cancer is the book, "Cancer Chronicles," by George Johnson.
In it, he discusses a twenty-five year study which discusses where cancer comes from. Evidence seems to be growing that one's lifestyle has much to do with whether or not an individual develops cancer.
30% of cancer may be attributable to tobacco. Obesity and inactivity may account for 20% of cancer cases. diet 10 to 25%, alcohol, 4% , and viruses 3%. Down on the list of cancer causes are occupational exposures and pollutants.
These percentages prevailed in other countries besides the United States: France , United Kingdom, and other industrialized countries, which reinforces the validity of the study mentioned by George Johnson.
Again, these statistics do not mean that if an individual lives a style of life which encompasses what one  would should  and should not do, exercise, keep your weight down, don't smoke or drink, especially in excess, it does not mean you will not develop cancer; but there is strong evidence in your favor you will not, if you abide by this style of living: eating right, not smoking, little drinking and so on.

The choice of lifestyle is up to you. No one will tell you what to do; however, cancer is a painful disease which ultimately kills its victims. If you lead a good life, follow the rules above described, you have a better chance of not getting the disease.

Leading A Healthy Life Will Help You Keep Free Of Cancer

Leading A Healthy Life Will Help You Keep Free Of Cancer

Leading a healthy life. I am not predicting that leading a healthy life will keep you from developing cancer, but I will state that you can help yourself enormously from avoiding other illnesses, and maybe cancer also, if you follow a certain regimen.

1. Eat healthy foods. That means that you should avoid red meat, eat fresh fish, and perhaps some chicken and lighter meats, but do  not eat in excess;

2. Try to include in your diet fruits, fresh vegetables, carbohydrates, protein. Make a daily list of those basic foods which you include in your eating habits. That will help you make certain you cover all the four basic food stuffs available to you;

3. Keep your weight down. Absolutely do not be overweight. This commandment holds true at whatever age you are. Your metabolism will be able to digest just so much food. It is essential to recognize how much food you require to stay healthy. You will be amazed at how little food the body requires to stay healthy;

4. For me, exercise is the number one important activity of the day. Next to keeping your brain active, exercising your body is absolutely essential to maintaining a healthy life.. If you digest lots of carbs, you need to exercise to keep the carbs from turning into body fat. I try to do some weight-lifting for a few minutes, but not too much to strain your body. I do push-ups, sit-ups, leg lifts, up and down and sideways leg lifts, and jog. I have been jogging for fifty years and have never really quit. However, a good fast walk will also help in keeping you healthy as you get on in years. Some individuals will not be able to jog as they get older, so a good , strong fast walk will also work to keep your heart muscle in good condition and arteries clear;

5. I avoid butter and bacon in my daily diet. Occasionally, I will some butter on my toast in the morning, but using butter for me is very rare. I would say I have used butter perhaps once a month, and when I do, I used the butter very sparingly. Any food stuffs you think will stick your arteries should be avoided. Any fat in any foods should be avoided;

6. I have stayed away from hard alcohol most of my adult life. Last summer, I had one six pack of beer, and no more than three gin drinks. That was it. In the evening , just before I go to bed, I will have a small glass of wine, and maybe two glasses of wine, but that is all  I drink, and never hard liquor;

7. I try to avoid soda as much as possible. Water is certainly better to drink during a meal than soda. I do enjoy my ginger ale during dinner and sometimes after, but , again, I sometimes substitute soda pop with lemonade  and with plenty of ice;

8. Certain foods have historically been recommended to fight off cancer. I am not sure that thinking is correct. Statistics simply do not bear out that highly touted assumption. Read "Cancer Chronicles," by George Johnson, for an informed understanding of the question of foods which assist in the fight against cancer.

9. Get a good night's sleep. It is not ever any good to wear one's body down, and certainly not on a consistent basis. Some people require a full eight hours of sleep, while others seven, and still others less than that. It is clear, however , that most people require rest, and so to sleep only four hours a night when your body is demanding eight hours is simply not smart. Don't fight your body's needs and requirements;

10. If some days your body feels tired, and even exhausted in the middle of the day. There is a reason for that. Your body knows enough to tell your brain that something is going on. It could be a cold or a virus wearing your body down. Whatever it is, you must react to it. I would suggest you get some immediate rest, go see your druggist, or set up an appointment to see your doctor if the exhaustion persists. The important point here is to listen to your body, and react if something does not feel right.

That's it for now.
