WHERE DOES CANCER COMES FROM?

WHERE DOES CANCER COME FROM?

One of the best studies I have read on cancer is the book, "Cancer Chronicles," by George Johnson.
In it, he discusses a twenty-five year study which discusses where cancer comes from. Evidence seems to be growing that one's lifestyle has much to do with whether or not an individual develops cancer.
30% of cancer may be attributable to tobacco. Obesity and inactivity may account for 20% of cancer cases. diet 10 to 25%, alcohol, 4% , and viruses 3%. Down on the list of cancer causes are occupational exposures and pollutants.
These percentages prevailed in other countries besides the United States: France , United Kingdom, and other industrialized countries, which reinforces the validity of the study mentioned by George Johnson.
Again, these statistics do not mean that if an individual lives a style of life which encompasses what one  would should  and should not do, exercise, keep your weight down, don't smoke or drink, especially in excess, it does not mean you will not develop cancer; but there is strong evidence in your favor you will not, if you abide by this style of living: eating right, not smoking, little drinking and so on.

The choice of lifestyle is up to you. No one will tell you what to do; however, cancer is a painful disease which ultimately kills its victims. If you lead a good life, follow the rules above described, you have a better chance of not getting the disease.
